As an Artist,
sometimes, I create my own inspiration.
For me, that means looking within,
in the present moment,
and creating instinctively ..
My fuel for
this collection was
to find a way
to stay committed
to my relationship with
art & creativity,
despite experiencing
the daily demands
of everyday life.
I created this collection
while I was moving countries.
Too many times, I had let go
of my attachment to art
because something else
was more important than painting.
I did not want this time to
be like the many moments
from my past..
Big changes are never easy,
and first times are particularly harder.
I decided to give myself a project -
that I will paint and play
for 20 minutes a day,
through this big change in my life.
Every day I created,
it felt more important to stay
dedicated to my art..
and allow myself to forget everything
for a brief moment,
to pause, and playfully create.
Each painting in this collection
is a simplistic, yet moving
watercolor landscape.
I hope my art serves
as a reminder for you
to pause, and play TODAY!
