inspired by my life in a new place
As an Artist,
my inspiration often lies
in the things that are so simple
and yet,
manage to surprise me..
My fuel for this collection are
my small, every day,
mundane moments,
that were so softly pleasurable,
like a comfort I felt in my skin.
There were countless moments
I felt I didn’t have much,
and couldn’t do much.
What brings to mind
is having
the chance and the space
to simply “be ” in the moment.
It was both
terrifying, and hopeful.
But no matter how ordinary,
or routinely small,
these moments moved me.
and found a way
to flow
through my paintbrush.
As I bring this collection to you,
I am reminded of
magic that is sometimes
stored in our mundane.
